Through the Eyeglass Recycling Program, Medical Missions provides routine eye exams using visual acuity charts, auto refractors, and other methods to enable volunteers to match patients with a refurbished pair of donated glasses for their new prescription. Patients have shared stories of new employment opportunities, better educational experience, and improved quality of life as a result of the care they receive.
