**Relay For Life of Lake County – Indiana** is a community event benefiting the American Cancer Society that brings together cancer survivors, caregivers, families, businesses, and community members for an evening of celebration, remembrance, and hope.
This year's event will take place on **Saturday, September 19**, and features inspiring ceremonies, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, food, games, fundraising, and opportunities to honor those affected by cancer. Highlights include our **Survivor Celebration**, **Caregiver Recognition**, the moving **Luminaria Ceremony**, and our **Fight Back Ceremony**, where participants symbolically break boards to demonstrate our commitment to fighting cancer together.
Relay For Life celebrates survivors, remembers loved ones we've lost, and raises funds to support the American Cancer Society's mission to improve the lives of people with cancer through research, patient support, advocacy, and prevention.
