I'm sending up prayers of praise and thanksgiving to God our Father in Heaven, who knows our needs before we speak them but wants to hear from us, and who has known the lives of His believers before we were even formed, and for Jesus our Lord and Savior who makes us presentable to God through himself, and sending us His Helper. Thank you for guiding the surgeon's hands, even as they were performing a triple bypass on my younger brother's heart. You know he is your good servant Lord, thank you for bringing him through this procedure so well – please stay close to him and heal him as only you can. Thank you for the peace you give us, even and especially in these challenging circumstances. You are our Good Shepherd, you love us fiercely and eternally, and we put our trust in You. This day held no surprises for you. Thank you for letting us rest in that. In the Mighty Name of Jesus we pray. Amen. Read more
