Portfolio of Work: Awoken Design

What it looks like to balance school and design work.

7:30 – 9:30 a.m. – Class (Design Studio). This is my early morning studio class. It is difficult to be creative this early in the morning. Yet, I have found that a totally different creative side early in the morning.

9:30-10:15 a.m. – Chapel. This is the time when I get to sit back, relax and listen with an open heart to what the Lord has to say to me.

10:30 -12:30 a.m. – Graphic Advertising. This class is great because it is teaching me to think with a corporate mindset and how to integrate my design skills with the end consumer end mind.

1:00 pm – Lunch with friends and a chance to nap and catch up on some sleep.

3:00 – 4:00 pm - College Writing. This class taught me how to think and write creatively.

4:00-6:00 pm – Work at Shine.fm doing web graphics for Seth and the Shine crew. It's my job to help make the Shine website, email, and other online outlets look great.

6:00- ? pm – Dinner, Homework, Working out and catching up on the some of my favorite tv shows. 24, Prison Break, Lie to Me, House etc.
