Hello, I'm Johnny and I get the pleasure of hosting the Rise and Shine morning show, weekdays 6:00AM - 9:00AM on Shine.fm.

Five quick things about me:

1. I am not a great blogger, but I try to highlight some of the more interesting things I observe in or think about life, which you can check out by clicking on the big "W" below.

2. I am originally from the friendly small town of two rivers, Ottawa, IL.

3. One of the best books I have read lately is "Fearless" by Max Lucado.

4. I have been married to Natalie since 2004...and right now we have three foster kids living with us.  We are part of a great community/life group that meets once a week and highly recommend that people get involved in such groups.

5. I am pursuing Master of Ministry degree right now and I'm about half done!
